How can I disable internet explorer on NT4.But I need to keep networking ability?

Thanks in advance

Block it at the firewall.

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!

That's not possible from my pond, and we don,t really want to get corp involved.

Do you really want to disable internet explorer, or just block access to the Internet?

If you disable internet explorer, not only will you not have access to the Internet, but you will not be able to view HTML documents.

How many workstations are involved? If not too many you could install a software firewall and block it there.

We have 6 nurse station machines that are a problem, corp will not allow us to install a firewall between us and the router.I guess I'm looking you a way to block by profile. Maybe redirect there proxy settings, however I think that refreshes?

I use static IP Addresses here, and putting zeros (0.0.0.0) as the Gateway instead the actual router's IP Address on a workstation will stop Internet access but still allow the local network to be used. You could also knock out the DNS IPs as well...
