Disable Database Repair and Compact

I'd like to restrict users from repairing and compacting Access97 database. Is there anything I could do to MDB file in order to prevent users from repairing and compact the DB besides disabling toolbar in MS Access Application?
Any help will be appreciated.

Remove their permission to open the database exclusively. I usually do this anyway because users have a nasty tendency to open databases exclusively.

This involves Access security. Please check the FAQ before asking questions.
