Hi Everyone!

Is there anyway to disable the close button on the top of the Application on the Title Bar? I want to prevent users from closing the database so I want to disable the "x" on the title bar. Thanks for your advice!

You can disable it in the form's property menu. I don't recall what it is in the earlier versions of Access, but in Access 2002, change the Close Button property to No.

If the issue is to remove the button, sure, there's code floating around these fora, try a search.

If the issue is to control the closing of database and forms, I often use methods similar to what mstrmage1768 describes in faq702-1870, which one might say "disables" the 'x' button.
