Hi... I have an Option 81C VER 3.0 and I know callrid has been common thread on this forum, but, I am on a Airforce Base and the cop shop here doesn't want the phones in certain offices to either send OR receive callerid info (IE: DN or NAMES). I have sucessfully disabled this on calls from the phones using "DDGD and NAMD" in the CLS build. I'm not having any sucess with disabling the DN/NAME from displaying on calls TO the phones. I am only having this issue on the analog phones.

For analog sets to receive CLID, you must have a CLASS Modem card. To turn off the CLID for an analog set, you make CLS be CNAD and CNUD.

Thank you for the quick response. Everytime I put CNAD in the cls it outs the phone. Any ideas?

Whoa! That doesn't sound right. Just for confirmation's sake, you have analog phones with displays and they get caller ID name/number? Did you print the TN 1st and verify CNUA and CNAA were in CLS?

Yes I did, and they also display the # not the name.

Print the TN before making any changes and see what the CLS prompts are currently set to. If you aren't getting name delivery then it may already have CNAD. For number only, all you need to work with is CNUA/CNUD.
