Im trying to see if anyone else has had this problem or if anyone knows a fix. I recently pdated my server to .net 2003 and proceeded to install the latest updates for my video card and directx9a. After dx install completes it says some features are disabled. I go to dxdiag and direct3d is disabled. In the notes section it says I should verify this i have a final version of my video driver i have tried nvidia drivers versions 41.09 29.58 and 43.45. If anyoen can help or at lest tell me they have had the same problem it would make me feel alot better

Do bare in mind that Windows Server 2003 is not yet available, so unless you have 'contacts', you will be running a beta or customer preview program copy. As this is all considered beta code, there is no guarentee that DX9a, or any other media based program will work.

Do bare in mind as well, that many of the current Windows 'enhancements' will have been in beta, either alongside or as part of Server 2003, so it is possible that you have just installed a lower version over an about to be released update.

Moral of the story, before adding things that change sytem code, always wait for the release version.

okok .... go to your display setting ... settings .... advance tab ... troubleshoot (move the slider to the max) and click ok. After that redo dxdiag and enable back your directx ... all should work fine ... try it ..
