I just bought a new game. And after i installed it, I press play and then it start to go and then an error box pops up and says Error: Could not instalize DirectX. What is wrong?

go to microsoft downloads and download and install DirectX, I believe it will be 8 or 8a version; if DirectX couldn't be initialized, then it's possible that you don't have it installed; Sylvano
