Hi all,
I'm having a problem with server-generated directory indexes in Apache 1.3 (running on Windows XP). The server seems to be able to make small indexes without a problem, but when making an index for a large directory (200+ files), it will insert random non-alphanumeric characters throughout the code for the index. This causes file icons not to display (if a character was inserted in the path to the icon file), links not to work, and formatting to be messed up. Furthermore, I cannot use header.html files in these large directories. If I do, the index wont even show up, I just get an error telling me that the page can't be displayed. Header or no header, though, there is something very wrong with my indexes. I have no idea what could be causing this.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
