If you are running Voice Mail Pro, you CAN create a generic voicemail transfer button for all users to utilize. First, you must create a shortcode for the action in Manager:
Shortcode: *60 (or whatever)
Tel# : #VM
Line Group: 0
Feature: Voicemail Node
Depending upon release, the above shortcode may need to be modified for Tel#: "#Short Codes.VM" and Feature: Voicemail Collect
You then create a shortcode in Voicemail Pro with the name VM, send the start point to a menu that has the touchtones tab with 2?? (or whatever your extension range is). Send that point to a "leave mail" option. Under the "specific tab" under that leave mail, check "mailbox" and then choose the variable "$KEY" for the place to send it.
Then to utilize this option: While you have a person on the line, Press Transfer, Then *60 (or a button with that programmed on it) and wait for *60 to pick-up (you will see #Short Codes.VM in the display. At that point enter the extension you want to send the caller to and then press Transfer again.
It is a not the most user friendly way to do it, but it is better than creating a shortcode for every extension.
