I have a 406v2 at 5.0.26
I have a shortcode that I always use ( #1xx / 1N / vm collect
If you do a normal transfer to a user is covers to vm and lights the light for a msg.
If you transfer to # and the ext number it covers to a generic (your party is not available) and leaves no light.
Not going to the mailbox....wth??

Yeah, sorry I do have that in telephone number field....still don't work

Usually with " either side, ? means collect # means leave :)

See what SSA shows, I imagine it isn't recognising the shortcode correctly, try without the "" marks and then with everything in "" basically play around until it works, it's one if those things Avaya loves to mess up :)
