Direct line inquiry?

Hello,

I've sort of gotten stuck with phone system duties in our office, so I don't know much about these Nortel systems other that what I have in my manual. We've had a lot of moving offices and staff turnover since this system was installed, so I'm trying to sort out everyone's extensions and direct lines. I think I'm set with extensions, but now I need to confirm everyone's direct lines. There is one assigned extension that we can't figure out the direct line to. Any suggestions? I've contacted our local phone company who installed the phones, but they're not very forthcoming unless we file an offical trouble ticket and get charged an arm and a leg. Thanks for any help!
 
Thanks. We have several outgoing lines so the 800 number just tells me the number that the call is being made from. I need to know the direct incoming phone number on that line for our directory.
 
You'll have to go into Terminals & Sets programming for each extension and see which target line is assigned to ring. Then you'll go to Line programming and see what the received digits are for each target line. If this is beyond your current level of knowledge I'd hire a Norstar tech. He or she should be able to get the info you need in short order.
