I have dual PRI's coming into my 412. Our AR department has requested their own number directly to their department. I have 20 DID numbers from the local telco. I have successfully set up a call flow that will route one of my DID numbers to an AA message. Works great for that one DID number.
My question is, is it possible within the 412 to "Roll the original DID number to another if it is busy? I think I might need to have at least 4 lines available for inbound call customers, especially the week after statements go out. I know I could set up 4 individual DID numbers to point to the AA, but I don't want to have to present the customer with 4 possible numbers. My goal is to give out one number our customers can call, but provide up to 4 inbound call lines. My telco says they cannot setup a rollover on our PRI for the DID numbers. Thanks in advance for your help. I have never had a problem that was not fixed by some guru here.

Your Telco should keep sending the same number over and over until the PRI fills up. THe system is what generates a busy signal. if you have it built properly then should it keep getting calls untill eihter the voice mail ports fill up or the PRI's fill up. How do you have the inconing call set up on the one DID?

My previous post may not have been clear enough. The telco ports our 800 inbound to the PRIs. They also provide me with 20 independat DID numbers that if called also port to the two PRI channels. All PRI channels route to the same ID on inbound call routing. I setup the working DID example 2708493502 to call route to an AA. works great from there. I don't want ALL calls to go to this specific AA, just ones that I can specify. My problem so far is that it seems as if I have to specify each DID. What I want to do is if the customer calls 8493502 and that line is busy, then the call will flow to the AA for the Account Recievables. I would like for this to be able to work for up to 4 inbound calls at a time.
Thanks

You have to route each DID to a specific destination.
You won't get a busy unless all PRI channels are busy when calling a certain DID number. You will not be able to roll a DID number like you are thinking of doing. One DID number has 23 channels to come in on if available.

"The lack of understanding is the root of all problems

just to add, you can use a default ICR if you want to have unassigned DID's point to one location, just add the ICR without a destination, only the Incoming Line ID equal to that of your PRI route

just have the one incoming call route for the 1 DID you give out. you will be fine.
