I have outlook and outlook express and I have 4 emails setup in the account - example:
1@email.com 2@email.com 3@email.com 4@email.com

I would like to have 1@email.com incoming email to go to the folder that I have name “folder1“ etc.. How do I do this in Outlook or Outlook express?

Use Mail Rules (OE) or Rules Wizard (Outlook). The exact wording will vary depening on which mail program but should be something like:

1. When mail arrives, if the To: or CC: line contains 1@email.com move it to folder1 and stop processing more rules
2. When mail arrives, if the To: or CC: line contains 2@email.com move it to folder2 and stop processing more rules

....and so on. You may need other rules for conditions like: if a message was sent to 2 of the addresses that you have. For mail rules info, use the search function in forum605 for mail rules

another suggestion is to say, where the e-mail arrives through AccountX, move to FolderX. Again, as smah pointed out, working will vary depending on outlook or OE

Thanks everyone smah, y2k1981 and Dreamboat for your assistance. I have set up the email redirection to the appropriate folders with no problem. I really do appreciate everyone's help.
