Hi,

I have a site that is mixed IP and Digital. Due to lots of different reasons.

We have upgraded the system from 8.0 to 9.0 then to 11.0.0.
We had upgraded to 11.0.4 but that was a disaster so we installed a new IPO500v2 unit and SD card at 11.0.0.

Since then we are having issues with digital phones. They work fine and then they often start to lag, they are slow to respond or just don't respond. They sometimes don't stop ringing after a call is answered and other things like this.

I checked out the CPU speed and it sits at around 54% and sometimes spikes to 82%.

Has anyone else had this before?

The only thing I can think of is to replace all the cards and the 2 x expansion units.

Many thanks!

I have not run into this personally but I will say when it comes to R11 the only release I currently use is R11 SP2. FP4 has to many problems and releases prior to SP2 seemed fairly bad as well. My only suggestion would be try R11 SP2 and see if it makes a difference.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

It seems then R11 is all bad. On R11 SP2 I ran into the segmentation violation fault that causes the IPO to reboot sometimes after saving things in Manager.

Even if a new patch comes out I really don't think I will trust it!

This is a rare problem but usually caused by the control unit.
I'd rewrite the config from scratch- no copy pasting.
Recreate the SD card and then upload the new config.
There could be corruption.

If you can't isolate the problem to one card, then replace the control unit. If it still occurs, look in to replacing the SD card.

Depending on the URI configuration the ICR can be completely ignored.

If your URI is configured to use internal data then the IP Office will look into the user's SIP tab and if you have *'s it will look into ICR.

A madman with a taste for speed.
