Different record source for Header, Detail, Footer

I want to create a form with Header data coming from Table 1, Detail from Table2, and Footer from Table 3. The tables share the same ID field. What is the best approach to do this?

Option1 sub report
option2 query containing info from 3 tables
option3 dlookup

Thanks gol4. I use option2 with variation since each table has different set of data.
