I have recently set RDRs to handle afterhours calls. The question has come up about the number of rings. Currently the CFN0 is set to 3, this is the setting all phones have. Is there a way to set the afterhours calls to a different amount of rings before being forwarded? In other words afterhours CFNA would only be 2 or 1 ring?

change cfno 1 or 2 to ring only 2 times and then change the phone to the cfno number. I will be in effect all the time so make sure you want that.

no, you can send did calls after hours with ld 49 idc tables, to different routing, if your talking a few dozen phones, it's not that hard, but if your trying to handle hundreds of phones, lots of entries.. you can change cfno from the default 3 to 1, but unless your running scripts it would be manual, faced with a simular request from 1 dept, i added cfw keys, the caller gets mail, without waiting for the rco to match.. if your not using did's yes it can go to mail with the console going into nites...
