We currently use (3)G3 systems together with two T1 PRI lines. Everything is owned by XYZ but they have decided to have another company user their space. The second company obviously wants to be identified as themselves when making calls.

I purchases additional DID's and made the changes to the dial-plan etc... I also changed the ISDN Pub to refelect a different number on caller ID. The problem I have now is that even though the number appears as ZYX the actual name still appears as XYZ. I called ATT and had them add caller ID to our PRI's which will take a couple of days. What kind of programming should I do so that the name appears as the second company and not the main company?

Thanks for the help!

If I recall correctly, the name isn't controlled by the PBX, it's controlled by the CO. Therefore you would have to have ATT change the outbound name for those specific DID's. However typically they sent the Billing Name so since those DID's and circuit are billed to XYZ, that's why the name is being shown. You could ask ATT to supress outbound name for caller ID to overcome this.

Could I also add another Card and have them pourchase their own PRI and send the calls for that DID range over it?

It's the DID account that matches the name. Whatever name is on the bill for the DID being outpulsed is the name that the LECs are going to match on caller ID. They either need their own DID account, or 1 other method is to create a new account with 1 "main" number. It could even just be an RCF number. Point the 1 number at their reception desk or auto-attd and outpulse that main number (not the DID) for members of that company.

Azzlano,

Yes, they could have their own PRI come into the building, and port over their DID's to that PRI. If they're paying for it, it should show their company for the name.
