Talk to your rep. It used to be that way. I'm not sure anymore. There really isn't much value in the slice and dice panel any more. There is nothing you can do there that you can't do with drag and drop.
In V6, Reporter and Explorer are gone. You just have Infoview and BusinessObjects or Infoview and WebIntelligence.

Our Reps do not have any documentation stating this clearly.
I know it is possible to do the sums, to insert rows easily with the drag & drop etc... but it is not very efficient for big cross tabs esp. for the 120 users who have been used to work with it...
Funny thing is that this icon appears in the standard menu, and I think it is a very basic feature when building tables.
Is there anyone using 5.1 here that could confirm slice & dice is not part of the Reporter licence? really hard to get info on this in the user manual.
What I would do is to install the software by doing a custom install. Don't install Explorer. If the slice and dice panel is still there, then you don't have to worry about it.
In reality, the new licensing scheme does not break this apart. Now, you have InfoView and BusinessObjects or InfoView and WebI.
