Is there a difference between using Me. and Me! in VBA to reference form fields? Thanks.

Why make it simple and efficient when it can be complex and wonderful?

Me. refers to a property of the object Me represents, typically a form or report. So Me.Name, Me.Visible, Me.Locked. Me! is a shorter way to refer to control related to what me represents....so Me![textbox], Me![combobox]. They are used in conjuntion as Me![textbox].Visible and so on...

By the way, Me is merely a shortcut for the object of control...typically a form or report

Me is the same as Forms![formname] and Reports![reportname]
