DID Question 1

We have a block of DID's (***)***-4580 to (***)***-4599
To make a DID ring at my phone i can just add a key 4599 to my phone and when i call (***)***-4599 it rings on my phone,

We just purchased a new block of DID's that are (***)***-2110
to (***)***-2170

What do i need to setup on the pbx to be able to add scr 2110
on a phone and be able to call that extension from outside?

If i try and add 2110 as a key on my phone i get: SCH0362
Unable to match input field with stored mnemonics.

When i print unused dns 21** is not available

prt a dnb of 21 to see what its being used for, otherwise you're going to have to IDC your 21xx DID to some internal number.

Looks like you might have that CDP'd out of your switch. Check in LD 87.

Before you order a new DID range, make sure you are not using that range for something else.

Your using 20, 21, 22, 23 range already




This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

what are you using the distant steering code for? go to 86 and prt cdp dsc 21, that points it to a rlb, print that, that will show the route your pointing to, then in 21 ltm that route to see if the des may tellyou whats on the other end

Hi

I found the problem i had my call park starting on 21
so i changed it to start the park at 81 and i got all my 21XX
back
