Anyone know a source for an extension to handle dictionary headings/footings????
Telephone directory work - refer to you local directory. It no doubt has the last name of the first person in the left column and the last name in the right hand column - bottom entry.
Changes on each page.
Also - this program might do a couple other things.
1. Place an Initial cap letter into text stream (center/left/right) when the alpha letter changes for sur-name.
2. Generate thumb tabs (finders) . . . What are they?
When you fan the book to look for a certain initial cap, these tabs (left/right margins of page, change the initial cap. "A" would appear in a reverse box at top left margin of first listing page. Even pages would have letter in right hand margin. Odd pages would have letter in left hand margin.see sample page:
