Dialing-TIE

Hi i am facing problem accessing COT line through TIE setup, i mean it is a 11c rls 4.5 tied with 61c rls 25.40 through ITG card(IPTI trunk). I can easily dial extension between sites but i wont be ale to acess trunk through route access code and get fast busy, capture of both dites is given below

On 11c ITG RDB no targ is set and CFTA at both site is YES the extension from where i am testing has CLS UNR CFXA.

Any advice??

Further update is that i get dial tone of Cot line for a second and then gets fast busy, when i track COT TN it shows that it is access by remote extension but it stays for a second then fast busy.

with that targ, you can't acod via a phone with tgar 2 thru 8.. if you phone is tgar 1 you can acod.. now go to 49 and default an allow table (nfcr) so that you can dial a number past the acod.. \\

since acod bypasses bars.. it relies on ld 49 for restrictions.. by default you can dial any number past the acod... in the old (pre bars) days we allowed all 1 st digits except 1 or 0 and called that the local trunk group..

i see that you changed the defaults, default is all frl's =zero... so now in 49 you need an allow of deny table for each ncos you want to assign to a set... if my ncos is 4, frl 4=4 so i needs an alow table for frl 4.. or i still get the busy

I changed all FRL and assigned them to zero but still fast busy after getting dial tone, dial tone stays for a second, further dialing extension has tgar 0. I am accessing COT line through IPTI trunk is that the problem??? can i access COT through IPTI TIE trunk??
Remote extension have Tgar 0, remote IPTI RDB gas targ=0.
Can some body help to shoe targ/tgar value of remote extension, remote IPTI RDB, Remote IPTI TN , terminating IPTI TN and RDB and COT RDB??

John in LD 49 CRNO 0 has set unrestricted. In LD 87 all frl are equal i mean
frl 0 is equal to Ncos 0.
Any more advice??

Your Ncos on the individual trunks are low. On the side that has the PSTN raise the ncos level of the trunk as to allow outside dialing. Raise it to a level you would normally set a phone set to.

I checked at both site, PSTN line have NCOS 0 (Unrestricted), dialing ext (remote) have NCOS 0 (Unrestricted) the Dialing IPTI trunk have NCOS 0 (unrestricted), in LD 87 FRL 0 is equal to NCOS 0.
The problem is that i get the tone of PSTN line but it gets drop before dialing.

What FRL is required to dial a NPA or NXX. Print in 90 then check RLI in 86. If FRL is anything other than 0 in the RLB it will drop you.

Are you dialing the bars access code or the route access code after getting across the tie lines? If you are dialing the route access code and the number you are testing has a 0 or a 1 as the first or second digit the CLS=CTD on the trunk will drop you every time. You would have to be UNR. Set up the trunk with the same NCOS etc as a set on the tamdem switch side.

Hi Guys, starting to scratch my head now, I am dialing through access follows (CLS CTD on all trunk of TIE, CLS UNR on PSTN TN)

81(to access remote pbx, i get dial tone)

then

77 (to access PSTN line, i get dial tone but before dialing
it gets drop, stays for a second)

Dialing set has CLS UNR and TGAR 0.

When i start just dialing (dont wait for dial tone to drop) i get fast busy after number.

I was suspecting NARS/BARS thats why i am testing it through access code. Does TIE CLS DIP effect to drop call after hearing dial tone?
Does access code procedure isnt the way to test this setup?

I would think it might since you're trying to send rotary-dial pulses while the end-of-dial timers have not expired. I see no reason why anything should be DIP - ever.
