I have inherited an Option 11C and currently am working an issue with dialing DSN numbers overseas.

What the commercial carrier is telling me is that after I dial 94 all they see is 7 digits (stateside) instead of 10 (overseas). Can someone point me in the direction of changing my "dialing plan" to recognize 10 digits instead of 7?

For regular local and LD calls - to get out of the building I dial 99, I can then dial any number of digits.

Not well versed in the Nortel Lingo, so any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

TRy this, look in LD 90 at your SPN for 011 which is what I am guessing you dial for overseas. It may be setup as an NPA, but it's usually an SPN.

Check the FLEN prompt and see how many digits its set to look for. If it's not 10 then set it to 10 and see if that helps.

SPN 011

To change the FLEN, use CHG at the REQ prompt instead, but leave the rest the same. You should be able to change the FLEN prompt by doing this. If 011 is not what you dial after dialing 94, then you will need to print out whichever digits you are dialing. Again they may be either and NPA or SPN.

if that didn't help, prt the dnb of 94 and give us a clue what that that is used for.. if it's an ac.. then you might be able to fix it with the flen, other wise you may need to look somewhere else
