I am trying to create a short code to dial a four digit extension on a different phone system by calling the outside number for the other phone system and automatically inputting the four digit extension. All extensions on the other phone system start with 2.

I have tried the short code set up:

Code: 2XXXX
Feature: Dial 3K1
Telephone Number: 12125551212,2XXX

but it is not working. I am hearing the remote phone system, but the wrong extension is being dialed.

I am doing this on a IP Office 406V2 running release 6.1.

Thanks.

You can't use X's in the telephone number field, use an N.

Looking at your code, you other system has some kind of DISA going on, hence the pause and the extn number after??

Thanks. Using the N instead of XXX in the Telephone number field fixed the issue.

IP Office Short Codes basics. It's all in the help files TBH
