I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help with this.
In our system, we are using 4 digits for internal dialing. We have a SIP trunk with another PBX. We use AAR code #9 and 5 digits to call that PBX. (for example if I need to call 76123, we dial #976123)
Currently 6xxxx is not being used in my extension range.
Here is what I would like to be able to do:
In my other PBX, our extensions are 76xxx range. I would like to dial 6xxx in Avaya, do a route pattern to insert #97 and have the call travel over the AAR (SIP trunk group # is 97).
Here is what I did, but could not get it to work.
I added 6xxx as 4 digit extensions
I created a route pattern to send call over TG 97, insert #97. Looking at List trace station, I see denial station 6000 when I dial it from an extension.
From the same station, I can dial #976123 with no issues.
Maybe I missed a step? Could someone please guide me in the right direction?
