i have a dial-up server on win2000 server which is in a network and is working fine, connecting clients from home to the internet. just like the usual dial-up. i want to use my pdc of course on AD as a dial-up server so i can save 1 server. my pdc accepts calls but rejects/disconnects during authentication. what did i miss? i already enabled an account in the AD to allow access. this is different with my previous dial-up server w/c you can enable allow access under Computer Mgt -> Users.
help pls.

What type of settings do you have on the PDC, within RRAS? It could be possible that one of the Remote Access Policies is looking for something that the user is not providing, so that, while the User object within the AD has the permission to dial in, the remote access polciy settings are stopping him/her. What type of error message is the user getting? That could also provide you with some specific information.
