I dialup to internet and after 3-5 minutes I get disconnected from the internet. I can reconnect with no problems but will again get disconnected within 3-5 min. I have checked drivers and they are up to date. My dial-up denies any issues with my connection. My local telephone company states that the line is clean and only guarantees 14.4 kbps anyway but I am not having problem with the connection just the connection. I have taken system to another location(different home) and dialup with another isp. Can surf around the net with no issue and no disconnect. I haven't attempted to try another isp on the problem line yet but other than that suggestion. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to look for that may be causing the disconnects.

Thank you in advance,

Well, no-one has responded to this after 3 days, so I'll throw my 2 cents worth in. Most of this is just guessing, I'm no expert on phone lines / connectivity.
Looks like you started your troubleshooting procedure fine, but I would have done one other thing while I had the system at another home, and that would have been to try your own isp. You stated that you tried another isp but not yours. Had you tried your isp using the same dial-up number and it had been successful, you could have eliminated your isp and your system. That would have left only your phone line as the possible culprit. If possible, take your system back over to the other home and try your isp and your dial-up number. (Changing only one element of the scenario could either eliminate or confirm that element as the problem.)
If you are successful (as I suspect you will be), have you tried different jacks within your own home? Try replacing the line between your modem and the phone jack. Try one thing at a time. Good luck, and post back with what you find.
