Dial Paging to an extension

Hi All.

I have been trying to set up a short code for Dial Paging to an Extension which the user enters after they dial the short code.

If I put a SPECIFIC extension in, it works fine.

However, if I put for the telephone number any of the following, the phone dialled just rings:

(nothing)
XXX
*XXX
N
*N

What am I doing wrong? Or do you have to be 100% specific. According to the documentation:

Makes a paging call to an extension or group specified. If no number is specified, this can be dialed after pressing the button. The target extension or group members must be free and must support handsfree auto-answer in order to hear the page.

(Does it have to be a button???)

Shortcode: #N (or can be #XXX if 3 digit extns)
Feature: Dial Paging
Tel No: N

That's it, works first time every time for me

If you use Dial Direct feature then they can also answer right away and it is not only one way audio

but works just like amriddle said

You can answer a Dial Paging to a group from 9XXX phones with the Answer soft key. Or conference on a 5XXX set. (kinda looks like azrael's shortcode may be backwards)

I was using *58#N as an example.

Your way works perfectly!

(I did find that adding a button did what I wanted too...)
