I'm putting some IP extensions into a workshop/office environment - the Pizza Box, a 406v2 on 4.2(4) is back at head office about 15 miles away. This will replace their current out of date Toshiba phone system.

One facility they have at the moment is the ability to dial a tannoy system (seems to be an auto-answer extension connected to an amp & speakers).
I've just tested a solution to replicate this that I think will work.
Put in a 5602, modify it so the internal speaker connects directly to the tannoy audio input. To Tannoy use the dial-paging feature to this extension.

Can anyone see a flaw in this?
TIA

Don't see why not as long as the paging unit accepts the audio in that way :)

Should be an easy test - it looks like a standard amp anyway.
