Dial by Directory

I've a problem at one of my customer with the dial by directory. A particular user works from home, and dials in to speak to someone, doesn't know the extension and uses the directory. After he goes through the prompts to enter the needed info, the call attempts to transfer out of the VM, but then the line goes dead. The Octel folks tell me the VM is fine, the problem is in the PBX (Meridian SL1). Any ideas? Thanks In Advance.
 
I would start by finding out what type of mailbox that he is dialing and of corse, what the mailbox number is.

I my self maintain a Meridian option 61c with an Overture 250 and have experinced simular situations, hopefuly I can help.
