Dial AccountCode and target number enbloc via TAPI

Hi guys,

I have a problem with a customer's lawyer software.

The software is able to enter a file number (account code) in dial string. So I'm searching for a way to dial a short code containing the file number followed by the target number to dial. It would be so easy if the software would dial digit by digit but it duals enbloc.

For testing purposes I created a short code *56*N#/AccountCode/N

Let's say we have 123456 as AccountCode and 0123456789 as the number to dial. I can manually (digit by digit) dial *56*123456#0123456789 and it works the way I need it. 123456 can be found in SMDR record. After dialing *56*123456# I get an internal dial tone and can go on to dial the target number.

If I dial the complete string via TAPI enbloc the phone shows me 'incompatible'

I also was able to alter the short code in *56*N#/AccountCode/N, and could dial *56*123456# enbloc via TAPI and go on with manually dialing 0123456789 and it works. But I didn't find out how to dial the target number digit by digit via TAPI.

I hope anyone can help me to build a working short code..,

You could try as TN XXXXXX#CN but I don't know it will work because the # is for IP Office a "end of number input" marker so it will ignore everything after the # and I even think it cannot split the dialled digits over two parameters so if you dial *56*123456#0185458785212 then it will not translate that to the two different fields e.g. accountcode and externa number.
Then dial *56*123456018545875212# and use as TN XXXXXX#CN were the accountcode must always be 6 digits in length.

What do you mean with TN?

Don't you think that IPO is able to differentiate between the X and N in the short code field and fill the right value as N in the telephone number field?

However I will give it a try tomorrow.

TN = TelephoneNumber in the shortcode fields
I thing that SC = *56*xxxxxxN / TN = N*N will give twice the dialled number separated with a *
So you dial *561234560123456 the output will be 561234560123456*561234560123456
