I have a flash movie that is a application form. There is also a dhtml pull out menu. if the <param name=wmode value=trasparent /> is not set the dhtml menu will appera behind the movie.
However when i set this attribute, in firefox and netscape 7 i am not able to write/select the form to put in any input.

Is there a way to make a dhtml menu go over the flash movie and allow me to select the form for data entry?

Is the entire project from flash, or is the dhtml menu layers in the html document container?

ah no the entire project isn't flash and yeah the menu is in an html document.

Got to it first, oldnewbie. Was going to suggest same thing.

Well i will try the div where the flash movie to have it lower the the nav. The problem with that is i havn't moved to tableless web pages yet.

but just trying what the kirupa.com article suggested doesn't work. They even mention in Netscape 6 and up which is gecko which is mozilla which is the problem i am having.

When i set the for to trasanparent in those two browsers i can't enter in text in my flash form fields. IE it works but no other browser.
