I have BIND 9 and DHCP 3 running on the same RedHat4 box. I'm using TSIG keys to sign updates and have the DHCP service updating the A and PTR records. The reverse zone is updating correctly, but the forward zone is not updating becuase it's reporting an error that "no such RRset exists". Is there a way to tell the DHCP service to update the record without looking for an existing RRset, or should I delete the current dhcpd.leases file and let everything rebuild as new leases? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
