I was wondering if you can put two nics in a box and run dhcp on both of them. Then have one scope on one nic and a different scope on the other nic. I want to implement vlans using DHCP.

Yes. It definately will....

Basically set each adapter on a seperate subnet, (such as Subnet1: 192.168.0.xxx
Subnet2: 192.168.1.xxx

And configure the DHCP service to serve those subnets seperately.

Once you have the two NICs in and working properly for each subnet, you won't even need to sweat hard in DHCP. Just create two scopes, one for each subnet, and don't worry further.

Ok, here's a little more worry: make sure that you configure DHCP options at the scope level, not the server level, since each scope will have a unique default gateway.

You can define multiple scopes on one Dhcp server, However you can only use one scope at a time to actiley assign IP's on a single phisical segment, unless you use a superscope. to define a superscope ypu have to creat two member scopes and define them in a superscope. This applies even if you have two Dhcp servers. If you have two Dhcps you have to include both mrmber scopes on each Dhcp and exclude all of the Ip's of one from the other and Vice-versa.
