Is there a way to vlan tag with DHCP so I don't have to put vlan id's on all switch ports? I am using cisco switches and feel it is going to be an administraive nightmare to control each port individually as apposed to tagging by computer name. Thanks

Can you expand on your requirement, not sure I understand?

I would like to tag vlans rather than use the cisco "switchport access" command on every port. If there is a way to say that any computer starting with the name "XYZ" can be in one VLAN, and any computer starting with "ABC" is in another VLAN. This would prevent the need to constantly be touching the switches if the process becomes automated.

This would require Cisco NAC framework or another NAC solution.
