DBMS Save is the second step you should perform on a system (after loading licenses). Forget at your peril.
3rd is command - DBMS Check on
That being said, I recently was working with 2 other techs building a MCD (MXe Server) and between us we have over 60 years of Mitel experience. We lost a full days programming by forgetting this simple step and running into the DHCP issue. (We all thought someone else had done it). If you reboot the system with the initialized flag off, goodbye data.
Lesson learned, DHCP not working? DBMS Save!
