Could you please tell me, on Win 2K Server, is it possible to setup a DHCP server on a server with two network cards, that broadcasts two different IP scopes, and configure that only certain workstations get certain ip numbers.
i.e. we would like our Admin workstations to have different IP numbers to our Curriculum workstations, but both need access to the server.

NOTE:
Our machines are split into sperate OU groups.
Our workstations are running NT 4 OS

Thank you for any help

You will need to setup the two NICs on two different subnets. Then you can setup the scopes for those two subnets and they will only give out IPs for the respective subnet. This assumes that the two networks are seperate, one for the admins connected to one nic on the server and on for the students connected to the other nic on the server.

We have two NICs in the server, the scopes required do have different subnets, but all the machines are pluged into one big network.

So is it possible to setup the DHCPs so they decides wether a workstations gets a IP from the Admin or the Curriculum DHCP?

Thank you for your suggestions.
