We have a Windows 2000 & Sun solaris mixed, flat network that run's both fat clients and thin clients. As the thin clients need to pick their addresses from the Sun server the DHCP issues a 192.x.x.x address scheme. The Windows 2000 side of the network issues a 10.x.x.x address scheme. We have just recently found that the fat clients are starting to pick up the Sun addresses, although nothing has changed? Anybody got any ideas?
