DHCP Assigning multiple IP's to Server which is fixed IP?

Hi,

I was looking through the lease of IP's on our router and noticed that there were 3 entries all for our server?

Why is DHCP assigning multiple IP's to the server when the server has a fixed IP and doesn't need giving one?

What might be causing this, is it something I should be worrired about and how come DHCP had 3 entries for the same machine.

Does this server have RRAS installed?

Yes, it's SBS 2003 - so everything on one box. Though we don't use DHCP on the server with AD, DCHP is via router.

Yes, however the RAS service requests IP addresses that it assigns to RAS users. You can change this in the RAS configuration - can't quite remember where but that's what the issue (behaviour?) is.

Thanks, I'll check it out.

What also seems odd is it seems to be assignig IP addresses out of the range of the remote IP pool , all remote users should be xxx.xxx.xxx.100 and above , as the router is assigning these, it seems to be getting the sub 100 range as that's how the router is configured for standard network IP's!
