Is it possible to create a site in DreamWeaver but maintain it in Frontpage? I've got a client who wants to maintain the site once it's finished but wants to use FrontPage.

I hope this is possible as I don't really want to use FrontPage to develop it. But will as a fallback plan

It depends on how you mean maintain? If they rely on FP extensions and bots and crap, then the site really needs to be designed and uploaded to the site using FP.

FP puts all kinds of proprietary code into a page as soon as it touches it. I call it the curse of Bill Gates, sort of like some deranged dog marking his territory whether he belongs there or not... but that is just me...

Anyway, when designing a website, choose your path and stick with it. Either design in FP and mainitain it with FP or design with DW and stick with that. Otherwise you are asking for all sorts of problems down the road. Just my opinion. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.

Cool, I understand. I usually use DW for all my work but since the client is wanting to maintain it and use FrontPage I'll probably have to use that.

Thanks
