is there a way to determine what machine some1 is using by there user name?

so if i have there username can i get what machine they are using?

If they do not have a roaming profile, there is a good chance that they have a folder with their name on it
(%USERNAME%) etc ... located on their local computer. Do a search of their username and see what turns up. If you find their profile folder, you might be able to locate the computer they are using.....

Another thing to do is enable auditing in your domain and audit the successful login attempts .....

go to computer management on your server, expand shared folders then click on sessions. you will now see a list of all server sessions for that server, order the User column alphabetically and find your user! the Computer column tells you which machine
