I have read that it is possible to customise ITO detect and terminate spinning, detatched processes.
Anyone know how it's done?

Thanks.

I would write a perl or shell script to look at the process list and detect any processes that are "spinning" by looking at the CPU utilization field of the output of ps -ef

This script would write a log file, which OVO (ITO) would monitor. Mike
