Hi,

do you a javascript that can detect if the activeX is enabled or disable on the browser.

because I have a newsletter to send out... im using a flash banner but if there's no activeX detected i will load the animated .GIF instead.

any better idea ?

thnx in any advice.

You should investigate the Macromedia Flash Detection Kit (just type that into Google to find it).

It does everything you need, and more. In fact, I used it last night for the first time in ages - the documentation that comes with it is pretty good (a PDF showing you examples, etc).

Hope this helps,
Dan
