I have a form with a form header and form footer. No page header or footer. I sized the header in design view, and that works fine. However, no matter what I do the detail section is cut off at the bottom by the footer (which has nothing in it). I have dragged it way down on the page and it still creates a detail section that is too small. I have tried manually adjusting the detail section height property to a large number but that doesn't work either. It has been a while since I used Access last, but I see that I figured this out in my last project, but I can't remember how I did it. Help?

Hi BadDog,

The Header and Footer have first call on space in the Form Window, the Detail gets what's left - it has nothing to do with the actual size of the Detail, a vertical scrollbar will be shown if need be. You need to size the Form Window to leave the space you want for the Detail.

Enjoy,
Tony
