Desktop settings

Here is what I am doing, I am customizing our images that when a user logs in, they automatically receive all the settings in their enviroment. I am putting ntuser.dat in default user and my desktop icons in all users, completing everything i need but, lets say I arrange my icons on my desktop a certain way, what file do i need to keep to restore it? I know there is one, but I cant seem to find it.

you need to rename ntuser.dat to ntuser.man

that will make the profiel mandatory so they can make no changes
