I'm a system administrator.
I have a PC (windows 2000 pro SP4 with all essential updates) which is infected I think with a (new ?) virus or so. Each time I reboot the machine, the desktop is filled with strange icons which name begins with the letters 'AG' and then a number (ex. AG420). Then second icons names is then AG421 etc etc.
You may delete the icons but next reboot, there're back.
IThe Pc is protected with MacAfee Virusscan 4.51 with the newest virus defination file. A scan shows no infection. I used Adaware and Spybot (with most up to date reference file) and also no result.
Any ideas how to find the intruder ?
Marc
