Hi All, I come from Spain so please excuse me English. I want to install just the sql server desktop engine but I don't know why. Well, I did it but then I couln'd connect from another computer to the data base where I had sql server complete installed. First of all thank you.

What is the error message?
How are you trying to make the connection?

Do you mean that you want to use Enterprise Manager as the "sql server desktop engine"
