When designing a report from the Report Wizard, I am having a problem with the initial design being two wide to fit to one page. I am using many fields (approx 30); and during the Design View of the report I am able to edit all of the fields and group them onto one page. The report itself looks great. The problem is when I go to print, there are two pages that contain shading and design (of course, no data) which is from the original report wizard design. Is there anyway to delete pages 2 & 3 since all my fields and data are now contained on only one page. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
In design view, scroll all the way to right, grab the right side of the page with your cursor and drag it left to where you want it to be. If it doesn't shrink as much as you want, check the page header, footer, etc. to make sure there are no objects sticking out as you can only collapse the height or width if there are no objects that require that space.
Another way to do this is to click on the Properties icon on the toolbar and Click on Format/Width and fill in the new width. The Properties sheet displays all the properties of the current object, so if the name in the title bar of your Properties sheet is not the same as your report name, first select Report from the combobox in the upper left corner of your toolbar.
