I have a table in SQL Server 2000 which I am trying to publish through business objects using designer. 99.99% of the fields I require are nice and easy and drop straight into Objects.

I have one field which is a date/time but is formatted as seconds (i.e. Universal Time - numbers only. Normally if the data was in Excel I would format the field as below to get the true date/time.

(CallDetailRecord.dateTimeConnect / 86400) + date(1970,1,1)
Then format the above field as dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss

Can anyone tell me how I can get this up and running in Business Objects as an Object I can display and condition on as BO dosent seem to have the formatting powers of Excel ?? - Another suggestion if anyone can help would be formatting the field before business Objects picks it up as an Object in a derived table through SQL??

Any help would be great,

Will

BO uses database functions available, it is not a question of BO having the same formatting options as Excel.
So you will need to proper T-sql function from SQL server (or a combination) to pull this off.

I think for SQL server you will need the DATEADD() function..
