I am trying to deploy office through group policy. I have edited the msi file in order to include the cd key. Now the problem is that when the install concludes on the client computer, a dialog box pops up asking if you would like to register the product. If you choose yes it states this can not be performed because the info is either unavailable or incorrect and then closes out. If you choose no then it just close out. Does anyone know of a way to edit this or a good book or reference on customizing software applications. I am new to this area and i dont need to go into great detail, I would just like to make installing certain programs less time consuming throughout our network.
