A friend in calif with an option 81c has his vendor telling him they need a DEP list patch upgrade from 7 to 11. I have never heard of this. Would it actually be PEP they are talking about or is there such a thing as DEP

Note: Nortel Networks performs extensive validation and trialing of its DepList/Paks prior to General Release, above and beyond that which is done for other Public PEPs, including ensuring that there is no impact when installing into a system with associated applications such as CallPilot, S ymposium, etc. This includes a typical two week field soak in a sample set of li ve sites, both live internal Nortel systems, and with the support of various dis tributors, other live field sites. As with any PEP or even generally available software releases, our testing may not represent all possible site configuration s, or latent issues that exist at a customer site. Continued due diligence on y our part is suggested in considering the specific business needs of the customer , whenever any software changes are being scheduled for installation.
If you post your software version and CPU (etc CP3, CP4, CPT, CPP) I'll search on the Nortel site which DEP list is the latest
